About Us

Creating Meaningful Impact

Since our launch in September 2023, FLUENT has reached out to local schools, libraries, and more to translate for them while also receiving translation requests. We have gathered 30+ members and continue to expand our team.

During our club meetings at Saratoga High School, the officer team presents on language-learning, translation techniques, and the translation industry to produce well-informed global citizens and strong translators. At the beginning of every meeting, members enjoy snacks from abroad as a fun way to explore global languages, foods, and cultures.

FLUENT is always working on translating something, from teacher syllabus to local city event announcements to songs. We post translation of songs on YouTube channel for the world to enjoy.

Anais Sobrier (许安娜)

Hi! My name is Anais (Ana-ees). I am a senior at Saratoga High School and a polyglot of eight languages. I was born and raised in California and grew up speaking French and Mandarin at home. I learned Spanish at school and am self-studying a few other languages. I’m happy to translate for you!
